The CleanFruits Washer is our answer: an ozone-microbubble soak that reduces surface pesticide residue and bacteria beyond a plain-water rinse β plus a gentle hand-spin to lift away the wash water. Efficacy varies by pesticide and produce type. The washer reduces β not eliminates β surface residue, and is not a substitute for the FDA's guidance to rinse produce. Safety-tested for ozone output; use with normal kitchen ventilation.
The USDA's Pesticide Data Program buys produce from ordinary grocery stores nationwide, prepares it the way a shopper would (washed, peeled where customary), then tests it in federal and state labs. We compute every score directly from those raw result files β no estimates, no vendor data, no brand input.
